Confusion about the authenticity of green claims on cleaning products can now be solved with the release of a new Cleaning Products Standard by not-for-profit Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA), which runs the country’s only transparent and independently audited multi-sector green certification program. GECA launches a new Cleaning Products standard
Replacing GECA 17-2007 Cleaning Products, the new standard GECA 17-2012
(available here), is the product of extensive revision. Among the changes are the inclusion of hand-dishwashing detergents and new criteria regarding palm oil, microorganisms, water emissions and waste minimisation. Read more >>
