The Smith Family is an independent non profit organization that works in partnership with Australians to help disadvantaged Australian children and their families. The Smith Family Commercial Enterprise supports work in the community by generating funds, offsetting the costs of running the
organisation.

The nominated Smith Family Pty Ltd
products have been independently tested by an accredited
laboratory for Formaldehyde emissions. The results show the
Formaldehyde emissions of these products are negligible. |

Waste Minimisation and Management |
The Smith Family Pty Ltd has a
waste minimisation process implemented for these nominated
products. The edge trim is collected and torn into fibres, it is
then reincorporated into the manufacturing process. |

3. Environmental and Social Regulatory Obligations:
GECA also found the The Smith Family range to
be fully compliant with their obligations under Labour,
Anti-Discrimination, and Safety Regulations. The company
has not been the subject of prosecution in relation to
compliance with labour, anti- discrimination, safety
regulations and environmental regulations in the past 24
months.
