Description of the
Technology.
RJ Workspace designs and manufactures office furniture. RJ Workspace strives to produce products in the most environmentally responsible manner. As part of their ISO14001 EMS certification they are committed to constantly improving their environmental practices year on year and maintain a balance between the environment, people and our business.
RJ Workspace products, with Environmental Choice Australia Mark certification, contribute points towards a Green Star Office Interiors rating.
2. The Products
Epicentre Workstation: An adjustable post and beam system that can be adapted to linear, 90º and 120 º and free standing workplaces. It is simple to assemble and reconfigure. Technician height adjustable legs are standard.
RTculate Workstation: A desk based system that is adaptable and simple to assemble and reconfigure. Available in fixed height or technician height adjustable options. It can be adapted to Linear, 90º and 120º and free standing workplaces.
TokTok Tables: A range of tables for corporate and commercial use.
The tables are suitable for casual, meeting, training, conference and boardrooms.

Any upholstered components will
use ECA certified fabrics to produce fully-certified products.

the manufacturing of their products that contain no harmful

The products components are easily
separated to ensure ease of disassembly.

RJ Workspace have a Product
Stewardship Policy which outlines the company’s commitment to
improving environmental practices by allowing customers to
return products to be reused or disassembled for recycling or
disposed of responsibly.

Coatings and Treatments
|
RJ Workspace use a powder coat on
the steel frame used to manufacture their products. The powder
coat does not inhibit post consumer recycling.

Replacement Parts
|
The RJ Workspace warranty covers
wear and tear for a period of 10 years for Workstations and
Tables. The Workstation and Table parts are replaced for
individual customers or businesses that have purchased the
product.

Packaging
|
RJ Workspace packs products using
a stretchable plastic tape and then places them in cardboard
boxes. The plastic tape contains no chlorine or halogens. The
cardboard box is 100% recycled.

Product Information
|
RJ Workspace supplies a Care and
Maintenance Manual for RJ Workspace Products. The manual is
supplied to the consumer on sale of the product. The manual
outlines the procedures for care and maintenance to ensure
longer lasting life of product. The Warranty terms and
conditions and take back policy are also outlined in the Care
and Maintenance Manual.

Environmental Assurance has
confirmed that RJ Workspace is currently operating in compliance
with Environmental Regulations.

|
Environmental Assurance has
confirmed that RJ Workspace is currently operating in compliance
with Labour, Anti-Discrimination and Safety Regulations. RJ
Workspace offer fair pay and suitable working conditions.

3. Environmental and Social Regulatory Obligations:
GECA also found the RJ Concept range to
be fully compliant with their obligations under Labour,
Anti-Discrimination, and Safety Regulations. The company
has not been the subject of prosecution in relation to
compliance with labour, anti- discrimination, safety
regulations and environmental regulations.
