Description of the
Technology.
Based in Brisbane, Queensland Tissue Products Pty Ltd is an Australian owned and operated company producing 100% recycled tissue paper products – toilet paper, facial tissues, serviettes, kitchen towels and hand towels. – and employing around 200 people throughout Australia.
Queensland Tissue Products Pty Ltd distributes Australia wide and provides a quality, value-for-money, environmentally preferable alternative to traditional tissue products.

measures during their manufacturing processes. Tests include
tolerance requirements for the paper mix, heating and moisture
content and production sample analysis for tear strength and

and bleach used for the manufacturing of these products and can
confirm compliance with this criterion. |

Solvents and Cleaning Agents |
GECS have reviewed the agents used
for the cleaning of the production equipment of these nominated
products and concluded that they meet the requirements of this
criterion. |

Packaging Requirements |
These nominated Queensland Tissue
Products Pty Ltd products are packaged with plastic that has not
been halogenated and is able to be recycled in mainstream
recovery facilities. |

3. Environmental and Social Regulatory Obligations:
GECA also found the Queensland Tissue
Products range to
be fully compliant with their obligations under Labour,
Anti-Discrimination, and Safety Regulations. The company
has not been the subject of prosecution in relation to
compliance with labour, anti- discrimination, safety
regulations and environmental regulations in the past 24
months.
