Technology.
GGI - Global Group International is an
office furniture company based in Canada with offices over 49
countries and dealers from all over the world. GGI manufactures
panel systems, filling and storage, tables, seating products with a
5-year guarantee on all products.
2. The Products
Renaissance Office Chair
Collection: The Renaissance is a height and
seat-adjustable office chair.
H80S / Larrikin Office Chair Collection: H80S Office
Chairs feature free floating adjustments and gas height
adjuster. H80S has been approved by AFRDI, level 6.
I-Mesh Chair Collection: I-Mesh chairs enable
adjustments to be easily made while the user
is seated.
Visi Panel Systems: The Visi panel system is an
adaptable workstation.
Boulevard Panel System: Boulevard panel is a new system
that is simple to install and reconfigure, and simple to
maintain.

policy of 10 years for the certified products. Sufficient proof
of demonstrated performance has been provided to satisfy the
quality requirements of GECA 28-2006. |

GGI Office Systems has supplied evidence for all
timber sources are under recognized certification schemes. |

Treatment |
GGI Office Systems has submitted certificates for
timber treatment which show that the chemicals used are not
carcinogenic. |

Glues in Plywood and Laminated Wood |
GGI uses urea formaldehyde resin in production of
the plywood. GGI has supplied MSDS of the glue that confirms the
emission is within the limits of GECA standards. |

Air Emissions |
GGI Office Systems has provided air emission test
results which show that the timber-derived components comply
with specified formaldehyde emission levels. |

Resin Identification Codes |
Resin identification codes are marked on plastic
components over 100g in weight. |

Polyurethane padding requirements |
MSDS for the polyurethane foams and blowing
agents have been reviewed to establish conformance to his
criterion. |

Fabrics |
GGI has confirmed that it will use only
Environmental Choice Australia certified fabrics for the
nominated product range. |

Adhesives |
GGI now uses an adhesive which complies with the
GECA 01-2007 Adhesives Standard. |

Overall Loads |
A review of the ingredients lists and MSDS for
all chemicals used in the manufacturing revealed that the
certified products contained no hazardous substances. |

Prohibited Substances |
A site assessment and review of all MSDS for
chemicals used to manufacture the certified products has not
revealed any prohibited substances. |
|
Separability |
GGI nominated products can be easily dissembled
without the use of special tools. |
|
Product Custodianship |
GGI Office Systems Pty Ltd provides a take back
program for the return and recycling of certified products. |
|
Coatings/Treatments |
GGI nominated products uses powder coating which
does not prevent recycling. |
|
Replacement Parts |
GGI Office Systems have a replacement part policy
which warrants wear and tear for 5 years from the date of
purchase. |

Compliance to Environmental Regulations |
GECS has received evidence that GGI Office
Systems is compliant to environmental regulations. |

Compliance to Labour, Anti-Discrimination and
Safety Regulations |
GECS has received evidence that GGI Office
Systems is compliant to labour, antidiscrimination and safety

3. Environmental and Social Regulatory Obligations:
GECA also found the GGI range to
be fully compliant with their obligations under Labour,
Anti-Discrimination, and Safety Regulations. The company
has not been the subject of prosecution in relation to
compliance with labour, anti- discrimination, safety
regulations and environmental regulations.
