These paint products have been
quality tested under standard KSM 6010:2004 by the Korean
Institute of Construction Materials and furthermore have been
certified by the Korean Ecolabelling Program, KoEco. |

VOC Levels |
These paint products have been
tested for VOC levels by the Korean Institute of Construction
Materials in accordance with the KSM ISO 11890-2:2002 standard.
The results indicate that the VOC levels are well below the
limits as stated for this criterion. |

Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide and
Lithopone Content |
GECS has determined that these
certified paints contain Titanium Dioxide and calculated that
the content of this compound in dry film is less than the
maximum allowable limit as stated for this criterion. |

Glycol Ethers |
GECS has confirmed that none of
the prohibited Glycol Ethers are contained in these paint
products as stated in the requirements for this criterion. |
|
Heavy Metals |
These paint products have been
tested for Heavy Metals by the Korean Institute of Construction
Materials, test report R071108-ES010. The results show that none
of the listed prohibited heavy metals were present. |

Packaging |
These paint products are either
packaged in recyclable steel or plastic containers. The plastic
containers are printed with the appropriate resin identification
code. |

Carcinogenic Substances |
GECS has confirmed that no class 1
or 2A carcinogens are present in these paint products as stated
in the requirements for this criterion. |

Restricted Substances |
GECS has confirmed that no Alkyl
Phenol Alkoxylates are present in these paint products as stated
in the requirements for this criterion. |

Use of Ozone-depleting Substances
in Industrial Solvents and Cleaning Agents |
GECS has confirmed that no
industrial solvents or cleaning agents are used in the cleaning
of production equipment and that only water is used. |

GECS has confirmed that no
solvents or Glycol Ethers are present in these paint products as
stated in the requirements for this criterion. |
