Bevisco Commercial Interiors is an
Australian owned and operated manufacturing company that
has been operating since the nineteen eighties. Bevisco
Commercial Interiors offer a depth of experience and
expertise in the design, manufacture and installation of
workstations, office furniture and storage solutions
including a full range of ergonomic and conference
seating. Bevisco Commercial Interiors have been
certified for their environmental management systems to
ISO 14001 and offer a range of AFRDI approved furniture.

Fitness for Purpose |
Bevisco Commercial Interiors have
quality control procedures in place for the design and
manufacturing of their commercial furniture. A selection of
these nominated products has been certified by AFRDI and all are
covered with a ten year warranty. Bevisco Commercial Interiors
clients include the government, banking, insurance, IT, health,
education and telecommunication sectors. |

source their timber products from an Environmental Choice
Australia certified supplier. GECS can confirm the timber
products contained in these nominated products meet the
requirements of this criterion. |

Treatment |
GECS has confirmed that these
nominated Bevisco Commercial Interiors products are not treated
or impregnated with any insecticides or fungicides. |

Air Emissions |
The wood products contained in
these nominated Bevisco Commercial Interiors products have been
tested for their volatile organic compound emissions. The test
results indicate that the VOC emissions are within the allowable
limits as stated for this criterion. |

Resin Identification Codes |
GECS has confirmed that all
plastic components of these nominated products weighing over
100g are labeled with the appropriate resin identification code. |

Furniture and Fittings Standard. |

Adhesives |
GECS has confirmed that the
adhesive used on these certified products has a solvent content
of less than 0.3% and meet the relevant requirements of the
standard. |

Hazardous Materials |
GECS has confirmed that no
hazardous or prohibited substances listed in the corresponding
criteria are used or added to these products during their
manufacturing processes, this includes the cleaning of the
production equipment. |

Separability |
It has been demonstrated to GECS
that these nominated products are easily disassembled into their
constituent materials without the use of specialised tools or
expertise. |
|
Product Custodianship |
Bevisco Commercial Interiors have
a product custodianship policy in place and will accept
certified products at their end of life for recycling at no
additional cost accept for transportation. |

Coatings and treatments |
GECS has confirmed that these
nominated Bevisco Commercial Interiors products are not treated
or coated in any way that would prevent post consumer recycling. |

Replacement parts |
Replacement parts for these
products are available for at least ten years as stated in the
Bevisco Commercial Interiors commercial warranty. |

Packaging Requirements |

compliance with labour, anti- discrimination, safety
regulations and environmental regulations in the past 24
months.
