Fitness for Purpose and Warranty |
These BAF products have been
tested to ASTM standards demonstrating fitness for purpose. In
addition these products are covered with a warranty which is
valid for five years from date of delivery. |

Timber and Other Natural Materials |
The paper content in the Ecotop
product is made from recycled paper which has FSC certification.
This criterion is not applicable to Lumicor R4. |

Resin Identification Codes |
The relevant resin identification
code is clearly marked on the Lumicor R4 panels. This criterion
is not applicable to Ecotop. |
|
Hazardous Materials |
No hazardous materials restricted
by this section in the standard exist in the final products or
in the production of these products. |
|
Separability |
BAF have in place a recycling
process associated with their product stewardship policy. There
is no barrier to disassemble these products for recycling,
separation into constituent materials is not required as the
products are homogenous. |

Product Stewardship |
BAF has a product stewardship
policy in place. These nominated products can be returned to
Baresque at their end of life for recycling. |
|
Replacement Parts |
Replacement panels for the Lumicor
R4 are available for a period of five years according to the
commercial product warranty. The Ecotop product does not require
replacement parts as it is a whole component, homogenous
material with no moving parts. |

Packaging Requirements |
These products are packaged in
recyclable plastic (that is not halogenated or chlorinated) and
cardboard and therefore meet the requirements of this criterion. |

Product Information |
The product information consumers
are provided with discusses warranty terms, instructions for
use, care, maintenance and end of life recycling. |

3. Environmental and Social Regulatory Obligations:
GECA also found the Baresque range to
be fully compliant with their obligations under Labour,
Anti-Discrimination, and Safety Regulations. The company
has not been the subject of prosecution in relation to
compliance with labour, anti- discrimination, safety
regulations and environmental regulations in the past 24
months.
