Description of the
Technology.
Arredorama is a Sydney based dealer importing high quality furniture for predominantly government and corporate projects. They source furniture from respected European and Australian brands, with selection based upon sustainability and design.
2. The Products
Memo.S Tables: The Memo.S Tables are adaptable tables that may be folded down to be stored aside.
Summa Tables: The Summa Tables are folding tables available in a range of shapes and sizes. They are offered with polished aluminium legs.

Fitness For Purpose
|
The Summa table has been tested against European Standards EN
527-1/AC: 2002, EN 527-2:2002, and EN 527-3:2003. The
manufacturer has been certified under both ISO 9001 and ISO
14001. Arredorama offers a seven year warranty for the Summa
Table and Memo.S Table.

Material Selection Requirements
|
The timber-derived materials products used in the certified
Summa Table and Memo.S Table have been established as compliant
to this criterion. They exhibit suitable PEFC and FSC certified
Chain of Custody evidence and materials sourced from sustainably
managed forestry operations. Delivery dockets between Arredorama
and the wood product suppliers demonstrate the supply chain from
certified sources. Timber products outside of this certification
will not be used to produce Summa and Memo.S tables under this
licence.

Treatment
|
The wood products used in Memo.S Tables and Summa Tables are
sourced from Australia and have not been treated with pesticides
or fungicides classed as type 1 or 2A for carcinogenicity.

Glues in plywood and laminated wood
|
The tables can only be sold as certified with timber derived
components that are certified under the Environmental Choice
Australia (ECA) Mark.
|
|
Air Emissions
|
The certified tables can only be sold with the ECA Mark when
they are made using timber derived components that have been
assessed and approved by GECS. Processed wood products that are
certified with the ECA Mark meet the requirements of this
criterion.

|
Plastics -Resin identification Codes
|
Plastic components around 100 grams or over in weight are marked
with appropriate resin identification codes.
|
|
Hazardous Materials
|
The Summa and Memo.S are certified in powdercoat and polished
aluminium finishes only. The aluminium is mechanically polished
without the use of chemicals. An MSDS has been provided for
powdercoat, which does not contain any of the hazardous
substances listed in this criterion.

Prohibited Substances
|
GECS has confirmed from the MSDS for the powdercoat material
that none of the prohibited substances listed in this criterion
are used in the manufacture of the Summa Tables and Memo.S
Tables.
|
|
Separability |
It was determined during a product inspection that the table
products sold by Arredorama that are subject of this report are
readily separable into constituent materials without the use of
special tools or expertise. |
|
Product Custodianship |
Arredorama has a Product Custodianship Policy which meets the
requirements of this criterion. Under this scheme, certified
products will be collected for recycling with the client
incurring only transport costs. |
|
Coatings/ Treatments |
A site visit has confirmed that no coatings or treatments
prevent the recycling of the product at the end of the product’s
life. |
|
Replacement Parts |
Arredorama offers replacement parts for at least five years
after delivery. Arredorama continue to supply replacement parts
after the warranty expires. |
|
Packaging Requirements
|
Product packaging used along the
supply chain is either re-usable or recyclable in local
mainstream resource recovery facilities.

3. Environmental and Social Regulatory Obligations:
GECA also found the Arredorama range to
be fully compliant with their obligations under Labour,
Anti-Discrimination, and Safety Regulations. The company
has not been the subject of prosecution in relation to
compliance with labour, anti- discrimination, safety
regulations and environmental regulations.
