Technology.
Ardex was founded in 1949 and is a successful international company in the construction chemicals industry. The company’s head offices are based in Witten, Germany. Ardex is a medium-sized independent, family owned business which pursues its interests globally and acts in line with the market and the needs and wants of its customers.
The Australian operation employs approximately 200 staff with decentralized manufacturing undertaken in most capital cities. The adhesive formulations originated from the ARDEX Henry brand in the USA.

Fitness for Purpose |
Ardex Australia holds an ISO
9001:2000 certificate demonstrating evidence of their quality
management system. In addition internal testing has been carried
out on the Ardex products under assessment based on methods
from: Shear Bond Strength, AS3553 – 1988. |

Hazardous Material Requirements |
None of the prohibited substances
listed for this criterion were found to be present in the
nominated products. The VOC content of these products was found
to be below the allowable limit. These products meet the
requirements for this criterion. |

Packaging Requirements |
The plastic packaging used in
these products is not chlorinated or halogenated. This packaging
is also re-sealable and recyclable meeting the requirements for
this criterion. |

These products contain acceptable
information regarding instructions for use, equipment cleaning
and disposal. MSDS’s and product data sheets are available at
initial purchase and on Ardex’s website. |

Environmental Regulations |
ARDEX Australia Pty Ltd has not
been prosecuted in relation to breaches of relevant
environmental legislation in the past 24 months. |

Safety Regulations |
ARDEX Australia Pty Ltd adheres to
the relevant social requirements for workplace conditions. The
company has not received a guilty verdict in relation to
