Description of the
Technology.
Agar Cleaning Systems has been manufacturing cleaning products since 1968. Agar Cleaning Systems is established in all states across Australia with their head office located in Melbourne. Agar Cleaning Systems manufactures a wide range of cleaning products including carpet cleaning, hard floor cleaning, food cleaning, laundry cleaning and others.
2. The Products
Spruce Detergent: Water-based multipurpose cleaner.
Spruce is a water-based all-purpose cleaner for floors and other washable hard surfaces. Spruce will remove all light to medium soils and spillages including foodstuffs, drinks, fats and general traffic dirt from all types of floors, walls, paintwork, laminates, windows, toilets, bathrooms fixtures and other washable surfaces.
CITRA-MIST: A spray and wipe cleaner which dissolves and removes soilage from hard surfaces.
FRESCO: Toilet and washroom cleaner. An all in one washroom cleaner for showers, toilets and ceramic tiles.
pH-7: Neutral floor and general purpose cleaner. pH-7 is a concentrated multi-purpose detergent which cleans all types of hard surfaces. Recommended for use on alkaline sensitive floors.
SEQUAL: A powerful cleaner for toilets and urinals. It is a thickened product that clings to vertical surfaces.

Surfactants and Enzymes |
The surfactants used in these products are aerobically and anaerobically biodegradable and no enzymes were found to be present. |

Solvents |
The volatile organic content of these products when diluted is well below the allowable limits as stated in the requirements of this criterion. |

Fragrances and Colours |
Some of these products contain colours and it has been verified that these are on the list of colouring agents allowed for use in cosmetic products in Annex IV of the European Union Commission Directive.

Phosphorus Related Claims |
GECS confirms that no phosphates or phosphorous containing compounds are present in these products. |
|
Recyclability |
These products are sold individually in recyclable plastic containers which are marked with the appropriate resin identification codes. Bulk purchases are sold in cardboard boxes which are also recyclable. |

These Agar Cleaning Systems products have labels which clearly states instructions for use, disposal and directions for technical data access. |
