Good Environmental Choice - Australia has commenced a study on the use of materials flow analysis in the delivery of environmentally credible green procurement programs. This national research study will deliver a guidance manual for procurement officers, a " Good Environmental Choice" Standard for Green Procurement Programs and a ' Good Environmental Choice" Standard for Green Offices.  More here->>

Understanding the environmental significance of environmental claims is the key to ensuring you are purchasing decisions lead to environmental benefits. Unfortunately the vast majority of environmental claims do not translate to any actual environmental load reductions. Don't be fooled when it comes to making credible environmental assessments of products.
