BEST PRACTICE GREEN PROCUREMENT IN AUSTRALIA - An on-line guide for professionals
The Green Purchasing Division of GECA has commenced a research study on the State of Green Procurement in Australia and best practice models for Green Procurement in co-operation with the Sustainability Science Team.
Current activities of this program are limited to research and dialogue on this topic with professional and peers. We hope to be able to deliver a seminar series on the results of this dialogue and research.
The scientific approach is an assessment of the materials flow analysis methodology to provide quality guidance in achieving greener procurement and sustainable consumption. The study has a particular focus on building materials but will be extended to other product groups as it develops.
Peer Roundtable on Best Practice Green Procurement for Building and other products and an assessment of the Materials Flow Analysis approach.
