Stage 3: Get licensed
- If the CAB recommends that your product or service can be certified, the conformance assessment and letter of conformance will be sent to GECA for final review
- If your audit result meets GECA’s requirements, GECA will issue you with a licence agreement and an invoice for your licensing fee based on your turnover declaration
- Once the licence agreement is signed and your fees are paid, your successful application will be rewarded with a GECA licence pack, which includes your licence certificate and detail of the privileges associated with the GECA ecolabel
5 business days.
Costs are calculated according to the sales figures of GECA certified products in the previous year. Information must be provided in a turnover declaration form at least one month prior to your licence issue date. The turnover declaration will determine your licensing fees for the coming year. The turnover figures provided should include all sales of certified products listed on your GECA licence (including sales to Green Star projects as well as all other sales).
