Application Fees:
Application fees are payable to both GECA and the auditor at the time of your application for certification.

The GECA application fee is payable once you return the GECA application form and before the audit process begins. This fee covers application administration and therefore applies to new applicants only (those who have not applied for GECA certification previously).

Audit Fees:
The fees charged for the audit of your product or service for GECA certification, whether for a new license or re-certification, are negotiated directly with the auditor (currently NCS International).
GECA- certified products and services are independently evaluated against GECA’s Standards by external auditors. Only GECA-endorsed, JAS-ANZ accredited auditors can assess products and services and recommend them for licensing against GECA standards.
If your organisation has other auditing requirements such as ISO 14001 or ISO 9001, bundling these audits together with your GECA certification can help reduce costs and streamline processing.

GECA license fees are payable annually on the anniversary date of your Licence certificate date. The first year's licence fees are payable within 21 days of returning the turnover declaration form to GECA and are generated based on an estimate of first year's turnover. This form will be provided to you when GECA receives the Letter of Conformance from the CAB.
These fees are to be generated based on one year’s sales figures (NET sales figures, not including GST). Sales figures need to be presented on a Turnover Declaration Form and will be requested at least one month prior to due date. The form must be submitted within the month your licensing fee renewal falls due.
NOTE: You are only required to provide the turnover of your GECA certified products.
This form will determine your licensing fees for the following year, the schedule of licensing fees will assist you in determining the fees that will fall due to those products certified;
