1. Description of the
Technology.
Established since 1920,
Solver Paint is made in Australia for Australian conditions and the
products include interior/exterior paints, varnishes, lacquers, and
special purpose protective coatings for a wide range of private,
corporate and public building applications.
Solver
Paints Pty Ltd has always tried to provide its customer the best
quality paint and now have come through, for the premium interior
paint market, with Solver Enviroguard - water based paint
which has 99.7% volatile organic compound (VOC) - free
chemical formulation.
After a
comprehensive assessment undertaken by GECA a selection of Solver
Enviroguard interior paints has been
awarded an Australian Good Environmental Choice Licence.

3. Environmental and Social Regulatory
Obligations
The Solver Paints Pty Ltd manufacturing plant in Kilburn, South Australia
conforms to state EPA requirements for emissions (Licence No EPA
1088 and Schedule: Expiry 31 October 2006). The Kilburn site has
demonstrated compliance to the terms of this licence. No breaches of
local environmental regulations have been found by GECA in its
assessment of the Kilburn site or have any been submitted by the
manufacturer. Solver Paints Pty Ltd also complies with all relevant social
regulations, including occupational health and safety, employee
remuneration and anti-discrimination.
